I close my computer at 3 PM.

I pick up my children. I make dinner. I do bedtime every other evening.

It is not because I lack ambition. I have just tried something else.

Earlier in my career, I worked up to 80 hours a week and had many travel days throughout the year. It was educational, and it gave me a lot. But it also came at a cost.

Today, I run Webnorth together with Simon Strande and our skilled colleagues. And we have consciously chosen a model where people and their families come first.

That choice is not about lower ambition. Quite the opposite.

We could probably have grown faster. But the cost would have been too high, both for ourselves and for the people we work with every day.

For us, family first is not only a personal value. It is also a way of building a company. An approach that creates well-being, continuity, and better solutions over time.

When people are doing well, they do stronger work. We feel that in our daily work. And our customers feel it too.

I still work. Sometimes in the evening as well. But the difference is that work is no longer allowed to take up all the space that should also belong to the rest of life.

That does not make me less ambitious. It makes me more aware of how ambition needs to be carried if it is going to last, and that is an important part of how we build the company.
