Tork Club is Essity Denmark’s closed loyalty platform for professional hygiene sales representatives across Denmark. Members earn points by completing product knowledge quizzes and spend them in a points-only rewards shop. Webnorth rebuilt the platform, delivering a secure, performant, fully Danish membership system, designed to Tork’s global brand identity and ready to scale to 600+ active members.
Members log in to a personalised dashboard with pending quizzes, current points, their assigned Tork consultant, and the latest product news. Quizzes open in a focused overlay with one question at a time and immediate feedback before returning members to the overview with their updated score. The shop filters products by point range, so members know what they can afford, and checkout uses points only with no currency shown anywhere on the platform.

ARCHITECTURE DECISIONS

Three decisions locked in before the first sprint started, because the right foundation matters more than a fast start.
Webnorth built the platform as a custom WordPress theme with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) as the structured content backbone, rather than relying on Elementor or any other currency page-builder plugin stack.
ACF gives editors full control over content layout through reusable modular blocks, while keeping the codebase maintainable, performant, and free from third-party plugin fragility. Editors can build and modify entire content pages without developer involvement.
The commercial core of Tork Club, earning points through quizzes and spending them on rewards, has no off-the-shelf equivalent.
Webnorth built a fully custom engine: server-side validated multiple-choice quizzes, configurable point values per question and per completed quiz, automatic expiry, birthday point credits, a complete transaction log, and a full admin dashboard. The engine is secure, auditable, and editable directly from the WordPress backend.
Instead of building a custom shop from scratch, Webnorth used WooCommerce for product management, cart, checkout, and order workflows, then replaced the pricing layer with points.
Tork’s team gets a familiar editor experience, while members never see currency in the shop. Point balance is validated server-side at checkout, and a custom supplier role lets warehouse partners manage shipments without full backend access.
