Technical curiosity in WordPress development

Date:April 28, 2026

As a teenager, I spent many weekends at LAN parties with people who were just as into computers as I was.

It was our version of a coffee club.
We talked about technology, culture, code, music, and of course games.

That mindset has stayed with me.

At Webnorth, that technical curiosity is still part of how we work.

We build complex WordPress solutions, plugins, webshops, and integrations, often in projects involving custom plugins and advanced setups.
But we also make space for exploring, experimenting, and building things outside of client work.

A good example is Michał Gwóźdź, one of our senior developers.

He recently built a Pomodoro timer. Not because it was needed for a project, but because he wanted to.

He used an old Raspberry Pi 3 and a 32×32 LED matrix he already had. Instead of buying something new, he built it himself.

After some soldering and Python, he now has a timer he can expand however he wants.

That is the kind of mindset we value.

It is not only about delivering solutions.
It is about staying curious, challenging yourself, and building things for the sake of learning.

That is how we develop.
And it is what ultimately makes us better at what we build for our clients, especially when working with integrations and technically complex solutions.
