Personal story

Good karma is also a way to build a business

Date:May 5, 2026

Good karma has always been an important part of Webnorth and the companies I have been involved in.

Life is short. When I am no longer here one day, I cannot take the money with me. But I can leave behind the best imprint I was able to create.

Hopefully, that will be visible through my children and their children. But also through the workplaces I helped build and the customers I helped move forward.

That is why I do not see ethics as something separate from business.

It is part of how we run the company.

We do not take on customers or partners if we cannot stand behind the work. We do not hire people who do not take the craft seriously or do not want the best for our customers. And we do not sell services that do not create real value.

It may sound simple.

But in practice, it means sometimes saying no. Even when there is money on the table.

Because you can often earn more in the short term by compromising. But that road quickly becomes a slippery slope, and I have seen others take it.

At Webnorth, we would rather build slowly, properly, and with respect for the people we work with, whether it involves new business websites or long-term collaborations.

That applies to customers.
It applies to the team.
And it applies to the way we want to be able to look ourselves in the eye.

For me, good karma is not a slogan.

It is about taking responsibility for the choices you make, even when no one else sees them.

Never turn to the dark side.
